حاصـل عـلى دكتـوراه في الدراسـات السـينمائية، و عـلى ديبلـوم في الصحافـة، و عـلى ماسـتر في السـينما و السـمعي-البصري والمقاربات البيثقافيـة في السـينما مـن جامعـة ميشـيل مانتـين بـوردو فرنسـا. و هـو يـترأس لجنـة تحكيـم النقـد السـينمائي للـدورة 24 لمهرجـان خريبكـة، فـإن هارونـا يظـل عضـوا في لجنـة تحكيـم توزيـع جوائـز غولــدن غلــوب الأمريــكي المرمــوق في دوراتهــا 80 )2022(، و 81 )2023(، و 83 )2024(، و التـي سـتعلن نتائجهـا في 5 ينايـر 2025.
عضــو لجنــة التحكيــم الجامعــة الدوليــة للصحافــة الســينمائية في إطــار الــدورة 75 لمهرجــان كان 2022، و عضــو لجنــة تحكيــم جوائـز النقـد السـينمائي للمركـز السـينمائي العـربي سـنتي 2023
و 2024.
مؤلــف لعــدة مقــالات علميــة و صحافيــة في عــدة وســائط ومجـلات متخصصـة كاليونيسـكو أووتيـلي، و ميديـا كيلتـير أنفـو، و كلاب نــوار.
آخـر كتبـه «بانورامـا السـينما النيجيريـة» عـن دار النـشر هارماتـان )2023(، إضافـة إلى إخراجـه العديـد مـن الأفـلام القصـيرة روائيـة ووثائقيــة، و تنشــيطه برنامجــا تليفزيونيــا في موضــوع الســينما
لمـدة تزيـد عـن سـت سـنوات.
أســس و تــرأس الجمعيــة النيجيريــة لنــوادي الســينما و النقــد الســينمائي، و مركــز البحــث المســتقل في الســينما و الســمعي- البــصري. يــدرس يوســفا في العديــد مــن المعاهــد و الجامعــات بنيجيريـا. و تتمحـور أبحاثـه حـول السـينمات بإفريقيـا و الوسـائط.
و هــو الآن مندوبــا عامــا لمهرجــان الفيلــم توكونــشي بالنيجــر.
Docteur en études cinématographiques, Youssoufa Halidou Harouna est diplômé en journalisme. Il a un master en Cinéma-Audiovisuel et Approches Interculturelles du Cinéma
de l’Université Michel Montaigne Bordeaux en France. Président du Jury pour le Prix de la Critique Paulin Soumanou Vieyra de là FACC à cette 24ème du Festival International de Cinéma Africain de Khouribga Maroc, Dr Youssoufa Halidou Harouna est Electeur (membre de jury) au prestigieux Golden Globe Awards des États Unis à ses 80ème en 2022, 81ème en 2023 et cette 83ème de 2024 dont les résultats seront connus le 5 janvier 2025.
Aussi, il a été membre du jury à la 75ème édition du Festival de Cannes (France) en 2022 dans le compte de la Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique (FIPRESCI) et des Prix de la Critique du Centre du Cinéma Arabe (ACC) en 2023 et pour cette année 2024.
Auteur de plusieurs articles scientifiques et journalistiques dans des médias, revues spécialisées et éditeurs comme UNESCO, AWOTELE, Media Culture Info, Clap Noir.
Son dernier ouvrage est paru chez Harmattan en juin 2023, intitulé »Panorama du cinéma nigérien«.
Il a réalisé plusieurs courts métrages documentaires et fiction, a conçu et animé une émission télé sur le cinéma pendant plus de 6 ans.
Président-fondateur de l’Association nigérienne des ciné-clubs et critiques de cinéma (ANCCCC) et du Centre de recherche indépendant sur le cinéma et l’audiovisuel (C.I.R.C.A), Docteur Youssoufa Halidou Harouna est enseignant dans plusieurs instituts et universités au Niger.
Ses axes de recherche tournent autour des cinémas d’Afrique et des médias.
Docteur Youssoufa Halidou Harouna est Délégué Général du Festival de Film Toukountchi du Niger.
Dr Youssoufa Halidou Harouna holds a doctorate in film studies and a degree in journalism. He holds also a master’s degree in Cinema-Audiovisual and Intercultural
Approaches to Cinema from the Université Michel Montaigne Bordeaux in France.
He is president of the Jury for the Prix de la Critique Paulin Soumanou Vieyra de là FACC. Dr Youssoufa Halidou Harouna has been a Voter (jury member) at the prestigious Golden Globe Awards in the United States at its 80th in 2022, 81st in 2023 and this 83rd in 2024, the results of which will be known on
January 5, 2025.
He was also a member of the jury at the 75th Cannes Film Festival (France) in 2022 on behalf of the International Federation of Film Press (FIPRESCI), and of the Critics’ Awards of the Arab Cinema Center (ACC) in 2023 and 2024.
Author of several scientific and journalistic articles in media, specialized magazines and publishers such as UNESCO, AWO- TELE, Media Culture Info, Clap Noir.
His latest book, »Panorama du Cinéma Nigérien«, was published by Harmattan in June 2023.
